Contest Entry- The Last Memory

Whoot whoot! I'm finally finished with my entry~ O3O
To be honest, I feel like I made this look a bit awkward with the eye ^^" Also, I would like to ask how does my shading look so far? Did I improve from my previous drawings? I'm just asking because I can't really tell that much. I honestly did put some work into this and I hope I get lucky in the contest
I chose to do this character because after reading her bio, I felt that she was definitely going to be interesting to draw. Since her bio states that she lost her childhood memories due to an accident, I thought that I would use that awkward looking little butterfly to represent the last memory she needs to complete her past, since butterflies are beautiful and hard to catch. At least for me they are OvO"
I listened to mostly Kanon Wakeshima and Alexander Rybak songs to give me that extra little inspiratio~
